Regional Coordinator

Shi-o I am Scott Freeman originally from Illinois, but have lived in Western North Carolina since 1993. In 2001 I started teaching at Cherokee Central School, part of the Eastern Band Cherokee nestled in the Great Smoky Mountains. Originally I taught in middle school as a special education teacher, but for the past 8 years have been teaching high school math. I am part of a Teacher Math Circle, Smoky Mountain Math Circle. I am the STEM after-school teacher. I work with Drone programming and building; also 3D design and improving the 3D printer. I am married with four boys and love hiking the mountains and taking photographs of landscapes. My email is scott.freeman@cc-nc.org
